This is a comprehensive identity for the Computer Science Department at Royal Holloway University of London.

The square is the pixel on the screen, the chip on the motherboard, the box on the flowchart, and the router on the network. Each of these squares spread their connections to the neighboring squares, and so forth, weaving a web of wires and creating relationships that constitute the world in which computer scientists thrive. So, it was only appropriate that the square was the element used to build this logo and all of its variants.
