Rock in Rio&#38;nbsp;Display
&#38;nbsp;Typeface design for a historical music festival
	

Rock in Rio, the historical music festival created in Brazil in 1985 by Roberto Medina, it was reproduced in Lisboa, Portugal, since 2003.
 
For its twentieth anniversary celebration in Portugal, we were invited by Dentsu Creative and Rock World Lisboa to develop the Rock in Rio typeface, inspired on the letters of his iconic logo. Our job was to create a handwritten typeface with multiple graphic solutions that provide flexibility and variety when defining words.

Festa dos Tabuleiros&#38;nbsp;2023
&#38;nbsp;Design for a centenary festival held in Tomar, Portugal every 4 years
	

						The Festival of the Trays takes place in the city of Tomar every four years, presents a unique model in the context of the festivities in honour of the Holy Spirit that take place on Pentecost, the central date of the Christian calendar. The distinctive elements are related to the format of the offerings, the Trays, which represent the fulfilment of promises to the Divine, constituting one of its central symbolic aspects. 

The Festival involves the participation of all parishes of the municipality since 1950. As a collective act, the festival is today carried out by the inhabitants of the municipality and its commuters and regulars, the descendants who migrated to other parts of the region, the country or abroad who return during the festive period and temporarily reconstitute the group of residents and families.

For the 2023 festivity we were invited by the Festival Central Commission to create this year identity with the support of Homem Bala studio, who have created the illustrations and the comercial spot.

PELA ESTRADA FORA&#38;nbsp;Opening titles
&#38;nbsp;TV series with Ljubomir Stanisic, Paulo Furtado (The Legendary Tigerman) and Nuno Faria
	

The series consists of 6 episodes where the protagonists  travel in their van to Colares, Côa, Gardunha, Montemor-o-Novo, Guadiana and Porto Santo, an adventure full of gastronomy, wine and lots of rock n roll.

Partenered with Gil Correia and Homem Bala, it was clear since the biginig that&#38;nbsp;the rock n roll style would be the starting point for our journey. So we designed a logo that represents the road that the protagonists would be travelling and we co-create the design for the opening titles, with the main focus on typography.

AKTO Studio
&#38;nbsp;Special service, customized and sustainable
	

Always with an environmental concern, AKTO Studio develops a specialized wood work of high carpentry and conservation restoration for its customers. At the same time they have Workshops to transmit knowledge to more and more people, keeping alive the knowledge of the wood arts and crafts.

As an established and recognized company, AKTO Studio asked us to redesign its logo and identity. We took the identity and we gave our best by providing consistense at the logo, with a strong focus on the typography construction, and also the introduction of a new color that boosts AKTO towards a more dynamic identity.

RUMMO
&#38;nbsp;Where the car comes to you
	

Rummo wants to give a new sense to mobility, through a car rental platform that works with an online counter. The rent-a-car application where the car goes to you, and you can return it wherever you want.

After knowing the communication style, it was important that the visual brand represents the easy, fast, practical and safe way to rent a car. We did so, conveying modernity, simplicity and confidence.

&#38;nbsp;Economic inclusion for youth
	

Decent jobs and income are essential if young people are to participate fully in their societies and realise their potential. Barriers to youth participation in the labour market include poor education, lack of skills and a mismatch of skills. In the Works is a RNW Media programme, who aims to address these barriers, with a specific focus on young women.RNW Media asked us to support the logo on the adjectives, Driving, Economic and Human Potential. At the same time, the brand needs to be chromatically adaptable and coexist in harmony with other brands from different programs. Our work aimed to create a dynamic and youthful identity, ready to help young people achieve they economic potential.

AQUILINO TORRÃO Architecte
Architecture is not exclusive to elites or limited to urban and peri-urban territories.
	Aquilino Torrão architect  challenged us to design the brand for his architecture office. We wanted that the design represent the architectural simplicity of Aquilino and that the logo could be developed on a structural basis. So we took the golden ratio and developed the AT monogram and used the Gotham font for the text.
